I have come across some news that the moderator of the Sly Cooper wiki posted. He posted a screenshot of all of the Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time episode titles. By looking at the titles, I could figure out which of Sly’s ancestors are going to be featured in the game. This is all subject to change, and I am not 100% sure that these are the right ancestors.
Here are the episode names:
Paris Prologue
Turning Japanese
Go West Young Raccoon
Clan of the Cave Raccoon
Holy Grail Robin!
Forty Thieves
Paris Epilogue
Minigamnes
Here are the ancestors that I think are going to be featured in the game:
Rioichi Cooper
Tennessee “Kid” Cooper
Slaigh MacCooper
Sir Galleth
Salim al Kupar of Arabia
Sly’s Father cameo appearance
This answers a lot of questions that were on the Sly Cooper Wiki and I hope it answers some of your questions about Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
My dad found a very cool video on Mashable that he showed me. It is a preview of a product called Leap Motion. The idea is that 8 cubic feet in front of your computer will be an interactive space to use with your hands. Your hands can control your computer, just like your mouse. It’s only $70 and it is supposed to be 200 times more sensitive than Microsoft Kinect. You will be able to plug it into a USB port. It is supposed to come out in December 2012 or January 2013, so you have to pre-order. Here is a cool video:
I was very excited when I found out that Sly Cooper Thieves In Time will be playable on the PS Vita. Not only is it playable on the PS Vita, but you can start the game on the PS Vita and continue on the PS3, or vice versa! Also, you only have to buy the game for one of the systems to be able to play on both. I don’t have a Vita but I hope to get one someday. Here is the trailer:
I sent in a funny comic strip to Archie Comics in hopes that they would include it in the Fan Art page of one of the Sonic The Hedgehog comics. I was very lucky to have mine included in Sonic Universe Issue 40. I received the latest issue in the mail the other day. I was shocked when I saw the Fan Art page as I flipped through the issue.
Sunnyside Explosion
In the comic series, Dr. Eggman has recently built the Death Egg Mark II. My comic strip takes place right after he has revealed his invention. In my story, Dr. Eggman is telling his nephew, Snively how to fix the wiring in the machine. As you can see, things don’t go according to plan.
I hope you enjoy it and hope you decide to pick up issue 40 of Sonic Universe. Sonic Universe is an expansion of the Sonic The Hedgehog comic series. It shows stories that don’t always include Sonic but often include his friends and enemies. I really like it. I also subscribe to the Sonic The Hedgehog series, which is the main Sonic comic. Both are good but they are different in how the stories are divided. Sonic Universe is usually divided into four issue mini series, while Sonic The Hedgehog is just one continuous story. Archie also publishes the Mega Man comic, which I subscribe to also.
There is a contest going on right now for the new Sly Cooper Thieves in Time game, made by Sanzaru Games. The contest is a treasure design for an artifact for Sly to be able to steal in the game. The winners will get a PS Vita and their treasures will be featured in the game. I was going to enter, but I am not eligible because I live in the United States and the contest is only available to people outside of the US. I decided to go ahead and finish my drawing anyway and I emailed it to Sanzaru Games anyway. I hope they view it. Obviously I won’t win but I wanted them to see it anyway. Here it is:
The Mysterious Monkey statue is actually Sanzaru’s mascot I guess since it is part of their logo. I have seen some video previews of the game and it looks really cool. I think they have done a good job taking over the Sly Cooper series. I hope it is even better than the originals.
Here is a link to a video that shows some Sly 4 gameplay. Sorry I couldn’t embed the video itself.
We recorded another podcast! This one is about LittleBigPlanet, which is tied with Sly Cooper for my favorite video game series. I just wanted to say that LittleBigPlanet is so cool and Media Molecule (The game creator) is a company full of geniuses! I can’t wait to play the upcoming LBP games. Here is the trailer for the LittleBigPlanet Karting game. Listen to the podcast to find out more about them. You can download it here or subscribe through iTunes.
Here is a cool stop motion video of books moving around after the store is closed. I’ve done some stop motion animations before and I bet this took a long time to make! The video was made by Type Books, a Toronto bookstore. Their website looks awesome too!
I am also making a stop motion video for a school project myself. Stay tuned for that!
Sonic Adventure 2: BattleRecently, I wanted to play Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on my Mac computer. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is an old Nintendo Gamecube game that was released in 2002. If you have a Wii, you can play old Gamecube games as long as you have a Gamecube controller and memory card. I had to do some research to find out if there was a way to play the game on my Mac too.
I had heard of a site called Emuparadise somewhere, so that is where I looked to find the game. You can download the Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and A LOT of other games from that site. The games you can download are called ROMs and the programs you need to play them are called Emulators. Here is a link to the Emuparadise site, which has links to the ROMs and a lot of good information about emulators:
Once you go to Emuparadise, click on “ROMs, ISOs & Games” from the site navigation. From that page, choose the console type you want to find games for. I chose “Nintendo Gamecube ISOs”. After you choose your console, you are taken to a page where you can either pick from the top games or search for a specific game listed in alphabetical order. I clicked “S” to search for the Sonic The Hedgehog games and then I clicked on the link for the Sonic Adventure 2: Battle game. The game page gives you a description of the game and some screenshots. Scroll down on that page and click the “Direct Download Link”. This might be a little confusing because clicking that link doesn’t download the game, but it takes you to another page where you can actually find the link to the game file. The actual game file will be under the “Direct Download” section of that page. Be very patient while the ROM is downloading. Some games can actually take hours to download from that site.
The file you will download will be a compressed file like a .rar or .7z file. Some emulators will uncompress the game when you want to play it, but the emulator I am going to write about makes you uncompress the file first. I use The Unarchiver or UnRarX to uncompress files.
Once you download the file and uncompress it, you will have a .iso file. This is the file that the emulator needs to be able to play the game. All of this sounds complicated, but it really isn’t. You can delete the compressed file once you have uncompressed it and have your .iso file.
DolphinNow that you have the .iso file, you need to download the emulator, which is called Dolphin. As far as I can tell, this is the best Gamecube or Wii emulator for the Mac. Dolphin is also available for Windows computers too. You can download it here:
Once you have installed Dolphin, run the program. The first time I ran it, it did not automatically find my Sonic Adventure 2: Battle .iso file. I had to click “Open” and find the .iso file. Since then though, every time I open Dolphin, my game is listed in the home screen. Here is a tip – to make your game full screen, press Command-F (Ctrl-F for PC). Otherwise your game plays in a small window. Another tip – some of the game files are very big, so you might want to only download the ones you want most. The Sonic Adventure 2: Battle file is over 1GB.

Here is another trailer for The Avengers movie that shows a little bit more than the first. I like the clip where the Hulk catches Iron Man in mid-air and slides down a building. I was very surprised when I saw the serpent-like creature chasing Iron Man because I hadn’t seen anything like that in the last trailer. I can’t wait to see this movie!
This trailer is for the UK release, which is titled “Avengers Assemble”. The UK release date is also different than the US release date. The UK release date is April 26, 2012 and the US release date is May 4, 2012.
I know that I said that I wouldn’t keep posting updates about the Sly Cooper Wiki, but I am making an exception because I have updated my profile page with fan art and links to other pages that I’ve made. I have the links at the bottom to the other pages that I’ve made on the wiki. One of the links on the page is to a story I wrote about me and my sister secretly being in the Sly Cooper Series. I’m known as Ty the Wolf in the story, and my sister is known as Ash the Leopard. I have pages for both of them too, but as of right now, I have only given a picture and basic info on the pages. Here are some pictures that I posted:
Ty the Wolf
Ash the Leopard

P.S. I’ve already reached 200 edits to the Sly Cooper Wiki! My 200th edit was the creation of the My Part in the Sly Cooper Story page.
