Here is a picture of an awesome LEGO set I got for Christmas called Alien Conquest (LEGO set 7065). It is 416 pieces, so you would need to like big LEGO sets to want to build it. Even still, it is worth it once you finish building it. The three characters that come with the set are the Alien Clinger, which I like to call, “Minion”, the Alien Commander, which I like to call, “Galacto”, and a reporter, which I don’t have a name for. I guess I based those names from different movies like Despicable Me and Monsters Vs. Aliens. The mothership makes a sound if you twist the main spaceship pod. It sounds like the ship is sucking someone into the ship (like the reporter). The ship also has a big claw that I use to grab things (like the reporter). I would recommend this set to anyone who likes to build LEGO sets.
Sly Cooper Wiki
I uploaded photos to my favorite wiki today. It is the Sly Cooper wiki. I uploaded photos to the Rajan, Arpeggio, Jean Bison, Dimitri, Burial Urn (Special Loot), and the Clockwerk Wings pages. I took pictures of some of the Sly Cooper 2 screens today and uploaded those pictures to the wiki. I had to do some photoshopping to be able to upload them. Here is the link:
Baby Sloth Video
Here is a cute and weird video I just saw about two twin baby sloths. One is blind in one eye and they both have mange. The video shows the baby sloth getting a “haircut” and a new pair of “pajamas”. Here is the link. Sorry I couldn’t embed it in my blog.
By the way, Happy New Year!
Thanks to these sites for promoting our app
Thank you to iPad Application Reviews, AppAdvice and The Homeschool Post for helping to promote our Advent Calendar app. The iPad Application Reviews and AppAdvice sites both wrote such nice reviews about the app. The Homeschool Post gave away promotional codes through their twitter account. This has become more fun with so much support.
Sly Cooper Artwork 2
I’ve added two more characters to my Sly Cooper artwork. The girl is Inspector Carmelita Fox, who is chasing Sly Cooper. The angry owl flying above Bentley and Murray is called “Clockwerk”. Clockwerk used to be immortal until Sly destroyed him … twice. He is now destroyed, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in Sly Cooper Thieves In Time since the gang is using time travel. Here is a picture. By the way, the figures are called Color Blanks. I found them at Target in the art section. I color them with markers.

Geekdad blog on Wired.com wrote an article about us!!!
We can’t believe that Geekdad wrote an article about our Interactive Advent Calendar app on wired.com! I’m so honored and excited! My dad came home on Monday and showed me the article about the app. We were high-fiving and congratulating each other. Since then I’ve been showing all of my friends and family.
My dad first introduced me to Geekdad a couple of years ago when they interviewed Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, the creators of Phineas and Ferb on the Geekdad podcast. Since then we’ve enjoyed a lot of their articles and even entered a few of their contests. One of my favorite articles is the one where they promoted a “box of mystery” contest that we entered. We didn’t win that contest, but I think an article about our app is much better. Thanks Nathan Barry (@geekDadNath on Twitter) for writing such a great article!
If you haven’t seen the article, here is the link: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2011/11/father-son-app/.
